Set-Up Instructions: MAC OS 8 The following instructions are for setting up the MAC OS8 dialer. NOTE: If you obtained the Macintosh set-up disks from Tellurian Networks, disregard them. DO NOT install the Tellurian Networks disks on a computer with MAC OS8 - the software will not work properly and as a result you will have to reload a portion of your operating system.
Step 1 The first thing you want to do is find the Internet Set-up Assistant application on your hard drive. This is done by clicking on the File menu then by clicking on the Find. The Find File window should open up. In the blank field type internet, then click Find. The Items Found window should open up. Scroll down the window until you read, Internet Set-up Assistant. Double click on the corresponding application program (the file that's 370k) and the internet configuration proccess will begin. Step 2 If the previous step was done correctly you should be looking at a window that says Internet Set-up Assistant on the top. Click the Update button. NOTE: The number to the left of each statement below corresponds with the step number in the bottom right of the set-up window/windows.

Once connected you can use any internet application you wish - i.e.: Internet Explorer. For instructions on configuring Internet Explorer, see our Macintosh Internet Explorer instructions. Periodically check the Mac support news groups for all the current information on the Macintosh OS. One starting point is the Apple home page.
